Title of the Book
Author of the Book - Sometimes there isn't one listed
Place of Publication - Always choose the first one listed
Publisher - Look for a Publisher Logo
From the Back of the Title Page:
Copyright Date - Look for © - Always choose the most recent.
Information you need from Websites:
Try to locate all the information from the page you are taking information from:
Look for an author (a person's name) at the top of bottom of the site - Many times there isn't one listed
Title of the Website - Use the title at the top of the page - if there isn't one - Look at the very top of the browser window.
Sponsor - Try to locate what organization or company is responsible for the website. Sometimes you have to click on a Home or About Us link.
Copyright Date - Look for © - This is usually at the bottom of the website. Can be listed as "Last Updated On."
URL of the Website - When using an "open" website that anyone can use - ALWAYS include the complete URL.
